Welcoming Everything That Shows Up
Sometimes what shows up in life is the exact opposite of what we think we want. While circumstances may not match our expectations, what shows up is actually what we most need for embodying greater love and freedom, even if it doesn’t look that way in the moment.
Since we continually yearn for further enlightening, opportunities come in many forms. These gifts come through our light as well as through our shadow.
A common tendency when we find ourselves in a tough situation is to try to control it, solve it, or move through it quickly. In a crisis, we might to try to jump to solutions to eradicate or fix the difficulty. But, there might be a range of emotions needing to be felt from shock, anger, fear, and sadness, to peace and acceptance.
In a joyous situation we may also feel a wide range of emotions like relief, gratitude, fear, and excitement. But do we slow down sufficiently to become truly present and savor our feelings?
When we do slow down and feel our way through, a wide range of innovative solutions and miracles become available that were previously unimaginable. When we welcome everything that shows up as our teacher, we are open to receiving from beyond a limited range of what’s possible. In welcoming and feeling everything, we receive from the deepest and most expansive parts of our nature. Then in each situation, whether a crisis or a joy, we emerge more full of light.
In this workshop you will:
- identify a difficult situation you have been trying to solve
- feel the emotions that are there
- embrace the situation as a gift
- receive light from your greater nature for transcending, solving and resolving
The workshop lasts 90 minutes.
