The Illusion of Separation

Write your awesome label here.

Why does life seem so hard sometimes and so magical at other times?

We are extremely powerful creators and are connected to All That is and infinite resource. However, for an extremely long time during humanity’s evolution, including up to the present day, we have mistakenly perceived ourselves as separate from All That Is.

Separation is, in fact, an illusion because we are already completely connected and part of All, so we can never actually be alone or separate. But within the illusion of separation, we do experience ourselves as only an individual self, alone, isolated, anxious, and responsible for making our lives work. Within the fear-based illusion of separation we also make up other fear-based stories. One of our deepest fear stories is that of survival, in which we are never safe, our needs are never fully met, and there’s always a threat looming.

When we are in a fear-based story, not only does it seem real, but we inadvertently create a painful outer reality based on the belief of being separate from All. Not experiencing ourselves connected to All leaves us feeling isolated without enough support and/or resource. Due to how real outer reality seems, it’s challenging to see that we made up those stories in the first place, and without meaning to, we continue to create our outer world from them. That world is one of great difficulty and even tragedy because it’s born of fear-based stories.

Fortunately, we can get beyond our fear stories because they are not actually real, no matter how real they might seem. When we dare to hold them as just made-up stories and dare to open to what other truths might exist beyond those stories, it’s extremely freeing and liberating. In that liberation is an extraordinary lightness that allows for magical synchronicities and the ability to play with the material world and consciously create for the fun of it.
